Gentis Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. This full-time contract position is with an industry-leading data analytics firm interested in full-time flex/remote consultants. The ideal candidates will have the required skills listed below and will be eligible and open to being hired by the data firm at the end of the project's duration. This position will work alongside an existing team and leverages enterprise-level technologies and processes.


  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field is preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered
  • Experience in quality assurance testing of new and existing software and passionate about quality
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to focus on details and document and troubleshoot errors
  • Strong organizational skills which will be used to appropriately document test plans and test cases, organize and run meetings, and participate in testing
  • Proactive thinking and behavior: being able to anticipate, plan and execute in ways which help drive and increase the efficiency of our business
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with leaders and team members of all 84.51° functions
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, and be able to effectively communicate within the team
  • Maintain high levels of customer service at all times
  • Be able to manage and coordinate multiple testing projects simultaneously
  • Documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
  • Must be able to build and maintain a positive relationship with vendors and internal suppliers and customers
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams

Desirable Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the role as a QA testing analyst
  • SQL knowledge is a plus
  • Experience in using automated testing tools is a plus
  • Experience in Salesforce and Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations is a plus

Typical Duties

  • Work closely with product owners and business users to review and understand requirements specifications
  • Develop test plans and test cases to ensure requirements traceability
  • Execute test cases are regression test cases and document results
  • Document and track software defects and ensure that they are resolved properly and in a timely manner
  • Work with product owners and business users to discuss requirements questions
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure coding standards are being followed and determine the right solutions for resolving defects
  • Assist in user acceptance testing
  • Establish and document testing processes
