Requirements

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair advanced electronic circuits and equipment
  • Ability to operate a soldering and rework station
  • Ability to train associate technicians on the repair and operation of electronic equipment
  • Ability to lead a team, organize and oversee projects
  • Knowledge of loading operating system software on computers and mobile devices and updating firmware as required
  • Working knowledge to update IP addresses and navigate enterprise software systems
  • Ability to work within a team environment and use effective communication
  • Physical demands include, but are not limited to, high aptitude for standing and walking endurance, sitting while driving to various stores, lifting and carrying up to 70 pounds, pushing and pulling climbing ladders of various types, bending, squatting, and kneeling, and working in different temperatures inside and outside the store

Typical Duties

  • Troubleshoot and repair advanced electronic circuits and equipment
  • Operate a soldering and rework station
  • Train associate technicians on the repair and operation of electronic equipment
  • Lead a team, organize and oversee projects
  • Perform electronic component replacement
  • Navigate and investigate electronic controls interfaces
  • Load operating system software on computers and mobile devices and update firmware as required
  • Update IP addresses and navigate enterprise software systems
  • Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts
  • Repair mobile electronic devices such as tablet and handheld devices
  • Work within a team environment and use effective communication
  • Communicate with customers regarding the proper use of equipment and diagnose service issues
  • Utilize company email system to send and receive messages
  • Complete all repair, labor, parts purchasing and usage documentation in a timely fashion
  • Comply with all department and company policies and procedures
