Gentis Solutions is seeking a Senior Product Designer for a full-time position with a Fortune 50 company in Blue Ash, Ohio. The ideal candidate will possess an advanced understanding of leading research and discovery to recommend the desired user experience for an enterprise application. This role will focus heavily on internal Supply Chain and Manufacturing efforts.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of experience in B2B environments
  • Any previous experience to define, develop and document UX design and interaction requirements
  • Highly analytical aptitude and proficiency in using data analysis
  • Exceptional communication, and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to lead and innovate across teams and organizations
  • Demonstrated experience using strategy to solve complex problems
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead projects from concept to delivery and ongoing improvement
  • Portfolio demonstrating user experience activities, processes, and deliverables
  • Advanced skill with design tools, such as Sketch, Invision, Adobe CS, etc.
Typical Duties
  • Develop the user experience strategy and vision for a complex enterprise application
  • Advocate for users by leading or overseeing user research activities; understand when research is needed to uncover insights and recommend the right research methods; translate insights into design problems
  • Map the user experience across journeys and touch points to reveal needs, pain points, and business opportunities; influence behavior changes to help achieve desired business outcomes
  • Set standards for Design processes and artifacts, including user journeys, heuristic evaluations, wireframes, prototypes, and usability testing
  • Think broadly through ideation by planning and facilitating ideation and design-thinking activities with multi-disciplinary teams and create artifacts to demonstrate divergent thinking
  • Create high and low-fidelity prototypes, static or interactive, that are tested with users and shared with stakeholders
  • Measure, improve and enable continuous delivery to production
  • Apply standards from design systems and/or brand guidelines, and contribute to design systems
  • Embrace an Agile environment and act as an advocate for users, providing strategic leadership based on user-centered design, user research, information architecture, and service design
