Civil 3D Drafter

Gentis Solutions is seeking a Civil 3D Drafter for a full-time position with one of our clients. The ideal candidate will be able to apply their knowledge in preparing full design and drafting on a wide range of civil engineering projects. If you are qualified, make sure you apply.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a relevant major (civil engineering technology, construction management, etc.)
• 1+ years in Civil Engineering related CAD production (preferably in single-family and/or commercial developments)
• Proven experience with 3-D design software
• Hands-on ability to prepare full design and drafting on a wide range of civil engineering projects
• Experience with producing accurate and complete construction plans and reports
• Computer skills: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
• Must have high attention to detail and very well organized
• Complete multiple assignments successfully through effective multi-tasking and prioritizing
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with a team or independently as needed
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu

Typical Duties

• Providing civil engineering drafting, using AutoCAD / Civil 3D as needed
• Assisting civil engineers in preparation of plans
• Providing design assistance to the engineers for a variety of engineering projects
• Accompanying engineers on site visits and inspections
• Client and public agency interaction
• Performing earthwork volume calculations
• Calculating construction quantities from plans
• Drafting CAD details
