Gentis Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team. This CONTRACT/CONTRACT-TO-HIRE position is with one of our Fortune 50 clients interested in full-time FLEX/REMOTE consultants. Requirements

  • 5 - 10 years of Project Management experience
  • 5 - 10 years of Project Management experience delivering large and/or complex projects
  • Expertise in applying the systems development and project management life-cycle processes involved with implementing I.T. solutions
  • Proven track record of delivering objectives on time and within budget
  • Experience working with agile teams and understanding of the SAFe framework
  • Proven problem solving and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability in team motivation and delegation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels within the organization
  • Ability to travel independently (0-25% depending on project assignment)
  • Experienced in managing full life-cycle projects, including schedule, budget, risk/issue management and status reporting to various levels of the organization
  • Must have experience with the process of getting a project defined, through PLC process and approval gates

Typical Duties

  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, while meeting the client's expectations
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of departmental technology projects to ensure that goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters
  • Share responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating activities pertaining to technology projects for a given business unit. Ensures that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives
  • Monitor project activities
  • Lead various system projects to ensure quality products are delivered on time and within budget
  • Lead large and complex system projects to ensure quality products are delivered on time and within budget
  • Drive adherence to PMO quality standards
