Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Engineer

Compensation: 90,000- 100,000

About the Role

The Quality Control (QC) Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all raw materials, components, and finished products strictly meet quality standards. This role requires conducting inspections, performing tests, documenting results, and collaborating with teams to ensure compliance with both company and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials and incoming supplies to ensure quality compliance

• Conduct in-process quality checks during PCB assembly and material handling

• Test and verify products against defined specifications and engineering standards

• Document inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions

• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to resolve quality issues

• Inspect incoming electro-mechanical components such as energy meter kits, rectifiers, and CDI units

• Verify PCB layouts, wiring, and soldering quality during assembly. 

• Monitor in-process assembly lines to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Conduct functional and performance testing of energy meters and rectifier

• Ensure proper calibration and accuracy of electro-mechanical devices.

• Identify defective components and manage rework or rejection processes.

• Maintain calibration records of testing and measuring instruments.

• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality.

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to prevent recurring defects.

    

• Prepare and submit daily quality inspection reports and maintain quality records.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Industrial mandatory)

• 2-4 years of experience in QC/QA, preferably in electronics or manufacturing industries

• Strong knowledge of quality standards, inspection techniques, and testing procedures

• Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
