Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated Azure Specialist with 2–3 years of experience in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, managing, and supporting cloud infrastructure while ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient IT operations. You will work closely with the infrastructure team to maintain Azure environments, Microsoft 365 services, and endpoint security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and manage Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks (VNets), and Network Security Groups (NSGs).
  • Support the administration of Azure infrastructure, including Azure Backup, Recovery Services Vault, and Azure Site Recovery (ASR).
  • Monitor Azure resources, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and optimize performance and resource utilization.
  • Assist with on-premises to Azure migration projects, including virtual machines, file servers, and Microsoft 365 workloads.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Intune.
  • Configure and manage Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID), user accounts, groups, role-based access control (RBAC), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Conditional Access policies.
  • Support endpoint management using Microsoft Intune for Windows devices and mobile device management (MDM/MAM).
  • Assist in implementing security best practices using Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft 365 Defender.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure, identify issues proactively, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on cloud infrastructure projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, and basic networking concepts.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
  • Understanding of Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID), RBAC, MFA, and Conditional Access.
  • Experience with Azure Backup, Recovery Services Vault, and Azure monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and Microsoft Defender solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation is an advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900) (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) (if not AZ-104 certified)
