Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and administration of cloud infrastructure and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

This role is critical in driving cloud transformation initiatives while ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient IT operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure cloud services, Microsoft 365, enterprise security, identity management, and endpoint management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure, including Virtual Machines,
2. Availability Sets, VM Scale Sets, Azure SQL databases, and hybrid environments (On-Prem AD + Azure).
3. Configure and manage Azure networking components such as Virtual Networks (VNet), Network Security Groups (NSG), Load Balancers, Application Gateways, and  Network Gateways.
4. Manage Azure Storage Accounts, Recovery Services Vaults, Azure Backup, and Azure Site Recovery (ASR).
5. Design and administer Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), including Host Pools, Session Hosts, Application Groups, scaling policies, and FSLogix profile containers.
6.Perform server and workload migrations (On-Prem to Azure), SQL migrations, mailbox migrations, and file server migrations.
7. Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM).
8. Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft 365 Defender, Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Identity Protection.
9. Monitor troubleshoot, and optimize Azure environments to ensure high performance, security compliance, and cost efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Masters preferred)
• 5+ years of professional experience in Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
• Strong hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure design and cloud security frameworks
• In-depth knowledge of Intune, Endpoint Manager, and modern device management
• Proven experience in enterprise cloud security and compliance initiatives

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert

• Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate

• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate

Skills & Competencies

• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell preferred)

• Deep understanding of ITIL and cloud governance practices

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers
