About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM Subject Matter Expert (SME) & Project Manager to lead the implementation and support of Oracle Fusion SCM modules. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing the full lifecycle of Oracle Fusion SCM projects, from requirement gathering and system configuration to go-live and post-go-live support. This role demands strong leadership skills, technical expertise in Oracle Fusion SCM, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of Oracle Fusion SCM modules, including Purchasing Cloud, Self Service Procurement, Supplier Portal Cloud, Inventory Management Cloud, Project Financials Cloud, Project Management Cloud, Project Contract Billing Cloud, Sourcing Cloud Service, and Resource Management.
- Oversee the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, implementation, testing, and closure, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate and lead regular project meetings, including SteerCo, weekly meetings, and other ad hoc sessions, to review progress, identify risks, and address issues.
- Facilitate the testing and quarterly updates of Oracle Cloud SCM modules, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Drive the rollout and adoption of Oracle Fusion SCM modules, ensuring business users are equipped with the tools and support they need to succeed.
- Lead the Requirements Gathering, Analysis, System Design, Configuration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Oracle Fusion SCM implementations for new entities.
- Identify functional gaps and inefficiencies within Oracle Fusion SCM from a business process perspective and lead initiatives to address these gaps.
- Manage end-user training, troubleshooting, and post-go-live support to ensure smooth transitions to business-as-usual operations.
- Assist procurement teams in mapping and streamlining business practices for the successful deployment of Oracle Fusion SCM modules.
- Work closely with Procurement Business Partners to drive user satisfaction and ensure successful adoption of the system.
- Provide technical leadership and validation of system design, configurations, and integrations across Oracle Fusion SCM modules.
- Support the import, load, and validation of master and transactional data within the Oracle Fusion SCM ecosystem.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 12+ years of experience in requirement gathering, scoping, configuring, testing, rolling out, and supporting SCM applications, with at least 8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion SCM.
- Proven track record of completing at least two full 4-phase project life cycles (initiation, planning, implementation, and hypercare) with extensive experience in Oracle Fusion SCM modules.
- Strong understanding of the Oracle ERP systems, with a focus on SCM functionality and capabilities.
- Experience in project management, including managing timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Strong ability to influence and negotiate at all levels within the organization, ensuring smooth collaboration and buy-in from stakeholders.
- A deep understanding of how Information Technology can drive business outcomes and process efficiency.
- A degree in Engineering from a recognized university/college.
