Job Summary

A renowned UK-based restaurant group is seeking a highly organized and fluent English-speaking Logistics Professional to join their Lahore-based operations team. This is a critical onsite role responsible for managing and optimizing the logistics and supply chain processes between the UK and Pakistan.

The role demands close coordination with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure the timely, accurate, and efficient flow of goods and materials. Key Responsibilities

1. Supply Chain Coordination

  • Manage the end-to-end logistics operations including purchasing, shipments, and delivery schedules.

  • Coordinate directly with UK-based teams and vendors to ensure timely order processing.

2. Vendor & Partner Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for logistics-related communication with UK suppliers and partners.

  • Maintain clear and professional communication across time zones.

3. Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare and review all import/export documentation for accuracy and compliance with UK and Pakistani regulations.

  • Ensure smooth customs clearance and transport coordination.

4. Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock planning to avoid shortages or overstocking.

  • Liaise with warehouse teams to manage and reconcile stock entries and dispatches.

5. Process Optimization

  • Identify bottlenecks in the logistics process and propose improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.

  • Maintain and update logistics SOPs and workflow documentation.

6. Reporting

  • Generate regular logistics reports covering shipment status, inventory levels, delays, and cost analysis.

  • Provide weekly updates to UK management on key logistics KPIs.

Qualifications and Skills

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 35 years of experience in a logistics/supply chain role, preferably with international coordination.

Required Skills:

  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential.

  • Strong command of logistics operations, vendor coordination, and shipment tracking.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics tools.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage time-sensitive tasks and work effectively under pressure.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with UK or international companies.

  • Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs compliance.

  • Familiarity with restaurant or food service supply chains.
