Role Overview

GenZ Talent is looking for a talented Video Editor to produce high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing videos for social media, marketing campaigns, training content, and client projects. The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, a creative eye, and the ability to turn raw footage into compelling stories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

  • Add transitions, effects, motion graphics, subtitles, and audio enhancements to improve video quality.

  • Understand project briefs and translate ideas into polished video content.

  • Collaborate with the creative, marketing, and content teams to develop video concepts.

  • Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent style.

  • Organize and manage video files, footage, and project assets efficiently.

  • Stay updated with new editing trends, tools, and techniques to keep content modern and engaging.

  • Deliver projects within deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.

Requirements

  • 13 years of video editing experience (agency or marketing experience is a plus).

  • Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.

  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animations (Adobe After Effects is a plus).

  • Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.

  • Creativity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of visual composition.

  • A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous video editing work.
