Facilities Manager
About the job Facilities Manager
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations (building, utilities, housekeeping, security)
- Manage maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers (cleaning, security, HVAC, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards
- Handle space planning, office layout, and workplace improvements
- Monitor facility budgets, expenses, and cost optimization
- Manage inventory of office supplies and equipment
- Respond to facility-related issues and resolve them quickly
- Support emergency preparedness and safety procedures
- Ensure proper functioning of utilities (electricity, water, AC, etc.)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in facilities management or operations
- Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance processes
- Good vendor management and negotiation skills
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
