About the job Digital Learning Designer

  • Produce, refine, and design high-quality digital learning content using visuals, audio, videos, animations, and interactive components.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts, operational leaders, and branding teams to make sure content is correct, inclusive, and compliant with regulatory expectations.
  • Develop customised instructional and blended learning solutions, including assessments and simulations across multiple brands.
  • Design storyboards and create interactive digital learning modules using authoring platforms such as Articulate Storyline 360.
  • Build and grow internal learning communities across the organisation, encouraging collaboration and knowledge exchange.
  • Apply UX/UI approaches to improve accessibility, user clarity, and overall learner experience across systems.
  • Drive continuous enhancement by using feedback, analytics, and previous project insights to refine future material.
  • Support the creation of training and support assets (job aids, user manuals, FAQs, etc.) to improve learner usability.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of L&D developments and introduce creative ideas by researching modern learning tools and suggesting appropriate technologies, evaluating all approaches before applying a learning design.
  • Use learner feedback and post-course evaluations to propose improvements to training content and ensure intended learning outcomes are met.
  • Assist in uploading learning content to defined quality standards, creating course libraries, managing evaluations, and preparing reports when required.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in digital learning, multimedia, or e-learning development.
  • Skilled in Articulate 360 and additional authoring platforms (such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Camtasia).
  • Strong portfolio reflecting instructional quality and creative capability.
  • Strong digital literacy, including good understanding of platforms such as Teams, Zoom, or similar virtual meeting tools.
  • Excellent communication abilities and stakeholder coordination across multicultural and cross-functional teams.
  • Capable of handling several projects simultaneously while producing high-quality results within set timeframes.
  • Advanced troubleshooting ability and a proactive attitude to solving technical issues.
  • Strong attention to detail, organised working style, and efficiency.
  • Able to prioritise quickly and complete tasks effectively even with competing deadlines and multiple deliverables.
  • Able to work collaboratively as well as independently.

    Desirable Skills
  • Experience within financial services, insurance, or other regulated sectors.
  • Good knowledge of FCA regulations and how they apply across the group.
