Senior SQL Developer

• Manage and enhance existing SQL Server and PostgreSQL tables, views, and stored procedures.
• Design and develop new tables, views, and stored procedures to support business needs.
• Work with the architecture team to provide insights and suggestions for database design and improvements.
• Work with the business team to understand requirements and implement necessary database changes.
• Optimize database (SQL Server and Postgres) performance through indexing, query tuning, and other best practices.
• Experience with ETL processes, Python, and Apache Airflow is a plus.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in SQL Server development.
• Experience with PostgreSQL development would be an added advantage.
• Expert proficiency in writing complex and highly optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Thorough understanding of T-SQL, indexes, query plans, blocking, transactions etc., to perform optimizations.
• Understanding of database design principles and best practices.
• Experience in built-in and external DB tools including SQL profiler, DMV etc.
• Experience working with large databases will be a plus.
• Priority will be given to candidates who can join immediately.
• Fluent in spoken and written English to directly work with the onsite team in the US.
