Lead DevOps Engineer

• Take ownership of the complete DevOps strategy and ensure it supports organizational objectives.
• Architect, implement, and manage scalable multi-account AWS environments following AWS Well-Architected best practices.
• Lead automation initiatives, improve tooling, and maintain strong CI/CD pipelines along with reviewing infrastructure code.
• Set up and manage monitoring solutions, handle incident response processes, and ensure optimal system performance.
• Maintain security, compliance, and risk controls while aligning DevOps activities with company policies and standards.
• Guide, mentor, and collaborate closely with product teams, engineering groups, and external partners (including AWS).
• Manage budgeting, resource allocation, cost optimization, documentation, and overall knowledge sharing related to DevOps.

Required Experience & Skills

• More than 5 years of hands-on experience developing AWS cloud environments, with deep expertise in cloud architecture and operations.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, AWS deployment methods, and observability tools (such as Datadog).
• Good understanding of MySQL databases, data pipelines, ETL workflows, migrations, and fundamental data querying.
• Thorough knowledge of security practices for scalable, internet-facing, and highly available systems.
• Experienced in working with distributed, fault-tolerant environments and capable of handling complex problem-solving and analysis.
• Background working in cross-functional engineering teams with solid engineering principles and documentation practices.
• Advantageous skills: knowledge of GraphQL, React Native, internationalization (i18n), strategic business awareness, and managing unstructured JSON in MySQL.
