Data Architect

• Design and implement data architecture solutions for our clients in Colombo, Sri Lanka
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop and maintain data models, database schemas, and data dictionaries
• Design and implement data integration strategies to ensure data consistency and accuracy
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve data architecture and management processes
• Ensure data security and compliance with data privacy regulations
• Work closely with data engineers and analysts to support data-driven decision making
• Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures
• Monitor and optimize database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data architecture and management
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and successful delivery of data architecture projects.

Requirements

• Strong SQL development skills and sql server performance tuning skills
• Hands on experience in Azure Data factories Azure function app using Python scripting
• Hands on experience in Data warehouse, PBI
• Hands on experience in Fabric, Database Administration
• Good communication , experience working with client teams directly
• Experience working in agile environment
• Should have problem solving skills , solutioning should be able work collaboratively with client and vendor teams
