What Youll Be Doing
The Product Manager will be the person responsible for managing the Product Backlog and will be working closely with the Head of Product and related project manager.
- Define product vision & roadmap based on OKRs and drive the delivery of this roadmap together with tech and design teams.
- Own features and experiments end-to-end; driving cross-functional execution, and working with Design and Engineering teams to assess tradeoffs and feasibility.
- Benchmark direct and indirect competitor activities.
- Transform business requirements to product backlog items. Prioritize the items in the Product Backlog to best achieve goals and missions set by the Head of Product.
- Monitor the progress of product development and product release plans (Knows when and why a product backlog item is included in a sprint).
- Attend groomings with the development team to clear out any question raised during the groomings, ensure the Development Team understands the requirements and objectives of the items in the Product Backlog to the level needed.
- Articulate the expected benefit of each product backlog item to the team to foster developers creativity.
- Consultant for change management during agile development process when an alternative development path is recommended.
- Responsible for product performance monitoring and assigning metrics (Embodies expected benefit of each product backlog items with metrics).
- Evaluate the available data for product performance monitoring and request new data or create new source of channels to acquire data when there is no data available.
- Monitor and periodically report application's pain points and make suggestions about points of improvement.
- Run qualitative or quantitative research and analyze relevant data to define a problem when the problem is not clear.
- Work with UX researchers to gather information about user behaviour.
- Create mock-ups when necessary, communicate user journeys and give strategic briefs to the Product Designer upon the pain points or expected benefit we are seeking before the design process starts.
What Youll Bring
- Ideally, at least three years of previous working experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or Business Analyst.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial / Software Engineering, MIS, Mathematics, or related disciplines is preferred.
- Proactive, creative and troubleshooting character with strong analytical, verbal, communication and presentation skills is preferred.
- Fluency in English is a must.
- Time management skills are important when attention to detail is a must for product quality.
- Multitask management and coordination ability are musts.
- Knowledge about the development lifecycle is a must.
- Knowledge of the Agile process and principles is a plus.
- Knowledge of UX principles is a plus.
- Experience in financial solutions or related fields is a plus.
- Expertise in A/B testing
