Responsibilities
- Define and implement the key account and partnership strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Lead the commercial planning process, including budgeting, annual negotiations, and long-term contracts with key partners.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and potential partner networks.
- Lead and develop the Key Account & Partnership team, setting performance goals and providing coaching and feedback.
- Build a high-performing, agile, and motivated team capable of delivering commercial success.
- Collaborate with marketing, procurement, product, operations, and finance teams to deliver successful partner activations.
- Plan and execute promotional and pricing strategies in line with campaign calendars.
- Analyze category performance, partner contribution, and campaign results to optimize KPIs such as category penetration, average order value, and retention.
- Use data to identify improvement areas and implement scalable solutions.
- Monitor competitor strategies and market dynamics to inform commercial decision-making.
- Develop differentiated value propositions that strengthen our competitive position.
- Prepare regular business reviews and reports for internal stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Act as the primary escalation point for key account issues and opportunities.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in Key Account Management, Strategic Partnerships in FMCG, food delivery, e-commerce, or retail sectors
- Proven people leadership experience (min. 5 years), with a track record of building and scaling high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills able to structure and close complex deals.
- Experience in working with data and insights to define and track KPIs, customer value metrics, and business impact.
- A growth-oriented mindset both in terms of business and people.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage complexity and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or related fields. MBA is a plus.
