About the Role

Ghost Sherpa is seeking a mid-to-senior level Web Designer/Developer to join our digital team. This role is perfect for someone who is growth-minded and understands the ins and outs of WordPress and Elementor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building visually engaging, highly functional websites and ensuring their performance through basic on-site SEO.

Key Responsibilities

• Design branded, user-friendly websites from scratch: Wireframes to final interfaces

• Design brand assets (logos, fonts, colors) to apply to websites

• Develop website designs in WordPress using Elementor

• Own the full WordPress site lifecycle, from deployment to maintenance

  • Including hosting setup, backups, plugins, DNS, and user management

• Perform basic on-site SEO to improve visibility and performance

• Work with our team to make updates and necessary changes to websites

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient in WordPress and Elementor

• Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision

• Strong knowledge of UX and UI principles (mobile and web)

• English level: B1-C1

• Must have a camera to attend meetings

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday

• 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (Eastern Time preferred; Central acceptable)

• Successfully adjust to our workflow and design expectations

• Launch one or more WordPress sites following our standard process

• Demonstrate the ability to own projects from wireframe to launch with minimal supervision
