What’s the purpose of the role?

The Social Coordinator supports day-to-day execution of social media across Instagram, TikTok, and other key platforms. This role is highly detail-oriented and plays a critical part in bringing content calendars to life, managing posting, and ensuring seamless coordination across teams.


What will I be doing?

Content Execution & Posting

  • Schedule and publish posts across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
  • Ensure all content is formatted correctly (captions, tags, links, cover images)
  • Maintain and update social calendars in tools like Monday or similar

Community Management

  • Monitor comments, DMs, and tagged content daily
  • Respond to community engagement in brand voice and tone
  • Flag customer service issues or sensitive comments to the team

Content Coordination

  • Assist in organizing and uploading assets (lo-fi + premium)
  • Work closely with creative and influencer teams to ensure content is ready on time
  • QA content before posting to ensure accuracy and alignment

Performance Tracking

  • Pull weekly/monthly social metrics (engagement, growth, top-performing posts)
  • Identify trends and flag high-performing content for optimization

Trend & Platform Support

  • Stay up to date on TikTok and Instagram trends
  • Surface relevant trends, sounds, and formats to the team
  • Support reactive or timely content opportunities


What are my deliverables?

  • Content posted on time, error-free, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Updated and accurate social calendars across all platforms.
  • Daily community management (comments, DMs, tagged content).
  • Weekly/monthly social performance reports (engagement, growth, top-performing posts).
  • Organized and QA'd content assets ready for posting.
  • Trend reports surfacing relevant formats, sounds, and content opportunities to the team.

  • What experience do I need to succeed?

  • Strong understanding of Instagram & TikTok platforms
  • 1–2 years of experience in social media, marketing, or a related field.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
  • Familiarity with tools like Monday, Later, Sprout, or similar is a plus.

  • What skills do I need to succeed?
