What’s the purpose of the role?
The purpose of the Senior Paid Media Specialist role is to lead the development and execution of full-funnel paid media strategies that drive measurable business growth for clients, particularly within insurance and business services industries. This role combines strategic leadership and hands-on execution, owning the entire paid media ecosystem—from awareness to customer acquisition and retention—while ensuring campaigns are optimized for performance metrics such as lead generation, cost efficiency, and revenue impact. Additionally, the role serves as a client-facing strategic partner, translating data into actionable insights, guiding decision-making, and ensuring paid media efforts are fully integrated with broader marketing initiatives, including CRM, lifecycle marketing, and multi-channel attribution.
What will I be doing?
- Lead the development and execution of full-funnel paid media strategies across multiple clients.
- Manage and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, programmatic, and CTV.
- Own campaign performance, budgets, and KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CPL, lead generation).
- Analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable optimization strategies.
- Present results, insights, and recommendations directly to clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Creative, CRM, Analytics) to ensure integrated marketing efforts.
- Oversee tracking, attribution, and conversion measurement (GA4, GTM, CRM integrations).
- Identify growth opportunities and lead testing and experimentation initiatives.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring high-quality campaign execution.
- Drive best practices and innovation in paid media, especially within regulated industries
What are my deliverables?
- Full-funnel paid media strategies aligned with client business goals.
- Campaign setups, optimizations, and ongoing performance management across all paid channels.
- Achievement of agreed KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CPL, cost per policy, lead volume, etc.)
- Regular performance reports and dashboards with clear insights and recommendations.
- Client-ready presentations (strategy, performance reviews, optimization plans).
- Accurate tracking and attribution implementation (GA4, GTM, CRM integrations).
- A/B testing roadmaps and documented learnings from experiments.
- Optimized landing page and funnel recommendations to improve conversion rates.
- Budget allocation and pacing plans across channels and campaigns.
- Documented best practices, processes, and strategic frameworks for paid media.
- Contribution to team development through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
What experience do I need to succeed?
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in paid media strategy and execution (agency experience preferred).
- Proven experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns at scale.
- Demonstrated success managing monthly budgets of $50K+ across multiple clients.
- Direct experience in insurance (home, auto, or financial services) or regulated industries.
- Experience working with business services industries (e.g., legal, healthcare, real estate, home service.
- Strong background in lead generation and customer acquisition strategies.
- Experience owning full-funnel campaigns (awareness to conversion and retention)
- Hands-on experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking implementation.
- Experience integrating paid media with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and optimize performance based on insight.
- Experience presenting to clients and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Experience mentoring or leading junior team members
