What’s the purpose of the role?

The full-time WordPress Developer role focuses on WordPress administration, ensuring the smooth operation and enhancement of the WordPress site. This position requires strong admin skills to manage migrations, updates, and performance optimization, with potential opportunities to collaborate with dev teams.

What will I be doing?

• Migration of old WordPress sites to updated versions with Gutenberg blocks

• Keeping updates and tasks moving along efficiently

• Creating new sections within the WordPress environment

• Continuously improving performance and caching

• Implementing plugins for editors, such as setting up a polling plugin

What are my deliverables?

• Successfully migrated and updated WordPress sites

• Efficiently managed updates and new sections

• Optimized site performance and caching

• Functional plugin implementations (e.g., polling plugin)

What experience do I need to succeed?

• Strong knowledge of WordPress admin processes

• Experience with WordPress migrations and Gutenberg blocks

• Proficiency with the Gutenberg block editor is a must.

• Ability to manage site updates and performance optimization

• Familiarity with plugin implementation (no plugin development required)

What skills do I need to succeed?

• Strong command of the WordPress platform, including content creation and site management.

• Exceptional written and spoken English, with strong presentation skills for client and stakeholder interactions.

• Technical proficiency in WordPress administration
