YOUTUBE AND TWITCH CHANNEL MANAGER

 

Ginx TV Ltd. operates GINX Esports TV, the world’s largest esports TV network, reaching 40+ million homes, as well as the fast-growing web platform ginx.tv, which has 4.5M monthly unique users.   We are a specialist esports and gaming independent production company and create content not only for our owned and operated sites/networks, but also for brands and 3rd-party media.   Our studios and offices are in London’s King’s Cross.

Role

Our Youtube and Twitch channels are lagging the growth of our website.   This newly created role has as its sole focus to redress the balance.    Ginx produces long-form video content for its TV channel as well as short form for our website, some of which could be adapted for Youtube and Twitch, but the bulk of your role will be to create purpose made content for Twitch (live) and Youtube (VOD).   You can count on the help of the production team and all our facilities (studios, broadcast cameras, pro lighting/sound etc.)  are available to you.

Responsibilities

·         Audit our existing YT channels and recommend and implement changes where needed, including new channels.

·         Create regular weekly content upload schedules.

·         Create bespoke and strongly branded formats for both Youtube and Twitch.

·         Manage live events and for Twitch.

·         Create punchy programming thumbnails.

·         Manage SEO for all videos.

·         Manage Youtube marketing spend.

·         Focus relentlessly on growing YT subscribers to reach 250k by YE 2022 and 650k by YE 2023; and Twitch followers to reach 75k by YE 2022 and 150k by YE ’23.

Experience

·         You will have managed a successful Youtube channel for at minimum 3 years.

·         Knowledge of console/PC /mobile videogames and esports is core.

·         You will be very familiar with Premiere Pro, Photoshop or similar.

·         You’ll be familiar with streaming set-ups and technical processes for live content delivery.

·         Understanding of Youtube content optimisation and audience acquisition is essential.

·         You’ll be a keen daily user of data and analytics to help you drive subscriber numbers.

 

Based primarily at our HQ in King’s Cross, flexible working will be considered.   This is a permanent full-time position, reporting to the content and marketing director.
