We are currently recruiting, on behalf of our client, a Marine Logistics Coordinator to support marine operations and logistics activities in Angola.

Position Summary

The Marine Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring marine logistics operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement of personnel, vessels, equipment, and materials. The successful candidate will work closely with offshore and onshore teams, shipping agents, port authorities, and contractors to ensure uninterrupted operational support.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily marine logistics activities supporting offshore and onshore operations.
• Plan vessel schedules, personnel movements, cargo transportation, and marine resources.
• Liaise with shipping agents, port authorities, customs officials, and service providers.
• Monitor vessel performance, turnaround times, and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of personnel and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company procedures.
• Prepare marine logistics reports, documentation, and operational records.
• Coordinate emergency logistics support when required.
• Monitor logistics costs and optimize marine transportation activities.
• Work closely with HSE teams to ensure safe marine operations.
• Support procurement and inventory planning related to marine logistics.
• Participate in operational planning meetings and provide logistics recommendations.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Maritime Studies, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Marine Logistics, Shipping, Offshore Logistics, or Oil & Gas operations.
• Strong understanding of marine transportation and port operations.
• Experience coordinating offshore vessel logistics.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation and customs procedures.
• Experience working with logistics management systems.
• Excellent planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Oil & Gas or Offshore Industry.
• Knowledge of IMO regulations and international maritime standards.
• HSE awareness and safety-focused mindset.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Portuguese language skills will be considered an advantage.
