About Our Client

Our client is a leading Oil and Gas Company with operations globally.

Purpose

Support operational units in the maintenance and monitoring of rotating equipment in order to ensure their reliable availability in accordance with the contractual requirements of each unit.

Job Description

Coordinate the preparation and execution of the maintenance plan for large rotating equipment (centrifugal compressors, gas turbines, steam turbines)

Determining the repair specification for faulty equipment

Coordinate the preparation of preventive and corrective maintenance activities for rotating equipment by:

  • Monitor the parts and service purchase process
  • Ensure the mobilization of service providers in accordance with the operational plan of the units
  • Agree on intervention plans with the team on board the units
  • Monitor the preparation and execution of activities

Lead or participate in root cause analysis of rotating equipment failures, either internally or with OEM participation

Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs) for the rotating machines.

Monitor the availability, reliability and time of use of the main rotating equipment.

Ensuring that security, maintenance and service (internal or external) alerts and bulletins are known and implemented according to the company's needs.

Report equipment anomalies that are indicated internally or by OEMs and record them in the CMMS according to the Management System

Develop technical specifications for the rectification of reported anomalies

Guarantees and supports the rectification of anomalies

Provide adequate and accurate information for the preparation of the unit's budget.

Education

HNC/ HND/ Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

5 Years of service or experience in a similar field. Oil and Gas experience preferred.

Technical skills

Working knowledge of laser alignment and basic knowledge of reverse alignment (clocks Dial gauges).

Knowledge of combustion engines, compressors, turbines and pumps.

Able to read and understand P&ID.

Drive an RCA and complete a comprehensive report on the damaged equipment.

Have training in oil and vibration analysis.
