ACCOUNTABILITIES

The job holder manages, under the responsibility of the HVAC Superintendent all construction and installation
activities related to RUYA BATCH 1-EPCIC11-WHP and shall demonstrate a strong behavior about
Construction and installation requirements.

  • The job holder is accountable for the following activities during WHP EPCIC11 Project execution:
    Supervises Contractors HVAC installation activities related to HVAC system including Equipment package,
    Ducting system and Refrigerant piping system.
  • Ensure proper steps are followed during ducting and piping manufacturing phase at VENDOR premises
    according to NOC quality/construction standards.
  • Ensure a smooth handover of HVAC package and installation Ready for Commissioning to Commissioning
    Team
  • Ensures compliance with NOC and Project Safety Procedures among the entire construction phases.
    Provides proper data input to produce the daily progress reports.


JOB DIMENSIONS

WHP HVAC Construction Supervisor is responsible for HVAC fabrication & Erection activities performed by Contractor at yard.

ACTIVITIES

  • To promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and other NOC HSE procedures in all activities,
  • To carry out work in compliance with NOC values and policies, relevant laws, and regulations, agreed NOC
    priorities and objectives, NOC standards and procedures and good industry practices,
  • Supervises Contractors HVAC package installation on site for HVAC system: Air Conditioning Unit, Fan
    units, HVAC Electrical and Control Cabinets,
  • Supervise Ducting & Duct-in-line Equipment installation (including Safety Fire Dampers, Fire insulations and
    instrumentation) as well as duct leak test in compliance with Approved Engineering documentation.
  • Monitor fabrication of duct spool at Manufacturer premises in compliance with to NOC quality standards
  • Supervise Yard Refrigerant piping installation and connection to HVAC ACU/ACC package in compliance
    with Approved Isometric drawings, followed by Pressure leak test and refrigerant fill in
  • Carry on-site inspection upon delivery of Equipment at yard against Packing List and Approved Engineering
    documentation.
  • Identify any discrepancies and non-conformity against Approved Project documentation and follow up non
    compliance and Punch Lists up to resolution and clearance.
  • Liaise with CTR, and Package VENDORs by ensuring pro-active support and communication to achieve
    efficient team progress.
  • Prepare and Participate to Final Pre-Commissioning Walk Down Ready for Commissioning by ensuring
    completion of installation and related dossier prior to handover to Commissioning Team
  • Review and approve the different progress/inspections reports issued by the Contractor against the actual
    progress confirmed on site.
  • Provide a detailed daily progress report to NOC Construction managers for quick actions and/or mitigation.
  • Interface with other supervision personnel in the Projects team

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Have an Associate's or BS/HND/BTS degree in a technical field or extensive natural gas/oil industry
    experience.
  • Have strong working knowledge of General HVAC system and refrigeration system.
    • Professional Experience (number of years): 10
    • Experience within project: (number of years): 8
  • Familiar with TOTALENERGIES General Specifications (GS) / NOC Standards and International
    codes/standards (AWS, API) is a must.
  • Familiar with standard HVAC engineering documentation: GA drawings, datasheets, D&IDs, SLD Isometric
    for refrigeration system, Test procedures, Ducting and Piping Construction standards.
  • Ability to work in a team oriented, collaborative environment on projects in a complex and multicultural
    environment is essential.
  • Ability to influence and encourage personnel & CTR workers/supervisors.
  • Ability in using computer programs for word processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail communications.
  • English & Mandarin Language is mandatory
