Job Description: PeopleSoft HCM Technical and Functional Consultant - Contract

Location: Rome/Offsite, Italy

Period of Assignment: 1 October 2023 31 December 2023 (40 working days)

Technical Context:

The company utilizes PeopleSoft (HCM and FIN) as a fundamental component of its application infrastructure, with a current application version of 9.2 (PeopleTools 8.58) in both Financials and HCM. Recent enhancements include Talent Acquisition and Management in PeopleSoft HCM, covering aspects from Recruitment to Talent Administration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the ICT Solutions Coordinator and the project manager, you will provide specialized consultancy to address support issues and change requests, enhancing the existing PeopleSoft HCM implementation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Verifying the integration of modules and optimizing queries for seamless data warehouse integration.
  • Facilitating data access for the Data Warehouse (DWH) team by creating well-structured database views.
  • Providing an Entity-Relationship Diagram (ERD) to aid in the development of dimensional models.
  • Implementing controls for sensitive data protection and compliance.
  • Documenting handover procedures for the Solutions Support Team.

Professional Requirements:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline with a minimum of five years of professional experience in PeopleSoft ERP Applications.
  • Extensive experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 and the implementation and support of PeopleSoft ERP.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and analysis, with a focus on providing robust and sustainable solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM modules, particularly in Talent Management.
  • Strong experience with PeopleSoft reporting tools.
  • Full project lifecycle experience, from analysis to roll-out.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to propose clear and innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency in PeopleTools 8.58, PeopleCode, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft integration and features for minimizing customizations.
  • Problem-solving, team collaboration, and organizational skills.

The project will be conducted in English.
