Job Overview:

We are seeking a Data Marketplace / Data Sharing Architect for a contract position based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This role requires a candidate with substantial experience in Collibra or related technologies, particularly in Data Market Place, data sharing agreements, metadata management, and data governance.

Requirements:

  • 1st priority is a Dutch Citizen candidate, or candidates with the right skillset.
  • Must have existing eligibility to work in Amsterdam, Netherlands, based on Type 1 Visa, EU BlueCard, Dependent Visa, or Permanent Residency.
  • Must reside in Amsterdam and be available to work on-site for 3 days a week.
  • Eligibility to work as a Contractor via a limited company without the need for sponsorship support.

Responsibilities:

  • Selecting features and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques.
  • Data mining using cutting-edge methods.
  • Integrating third-party data sources as necessary.
  • Enhancing data collection procedures for building analytic systems.
  • Data processing, cleansing, and integrity verification.
  • Conducting ad-hoc analysis and presenting results effectively.
  • Developing automated anomaly detection systems and continuously monitoring their performance.
  • Proficiency in machine learning techniques and algorithms.
  • Experience with data science toolkits, such as R.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools, preferably MicroStrategy.
  • Strong command of query languages (SQL, Hive, Athena, Presto, etc.).
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase.
  • Applied statistics skills, including distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
  • Strong programming skills (e.g., Python) and frameworks (Apache / Dataiku, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies/services, preferably AWS services.
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery processes.
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
