Veterinary Surgeon

Job Summary:

Salary: £43,088 - £57,169 per annum (including allowances)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform consultations, examinations, and diagnostics to ensure comprehensive care for all patients.
• Carry out routine and advanced surgical procedures, ensuring the best outcomes for animals.
• Provide emergency care and treatment when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with veterinary nurses and other team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Educate pet owners on preventative care, treatment plans, and post-operative recovery.
• Contribute to the smooth running and positive culture of the practice.

Requirements:

• Must be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon with a valid veterinary license.
• Previous experience in a clinical or surgical veterinary setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload in a fast-paced environment.
