Veterinary Surgeon

We are excited to be working with a well-established veterinary practice in Woolwich, Greater London, to recruit an experienced and passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive and dynamic team that includes RVNs, SVNs, VCAs, Receptionists, and a Practice Manager.

Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon

Location: Woolwich, Greater London

Salary: Up to £60,000

Working Hours: 4 days per week, with 1:4 Saturdays

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality veterinary care and treatment to a wide range of patients.
• Perform consultations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures with precision and compassion.
• Build strong relationships with clients, offering advice and support on pet care.
• Work collaboratively with the rest of the team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on all patients.
• Participate in the weekend rota (1:4 Saturdays).

Essential Requirements:

• RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
• At least 3 years of experience in small animal practice, with competence in routine surgery and consultations.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to work well within a team as well as independently.
• Enthusiastic and dedicated, with a passion for delivering exceptional care.
