Locum Veterinary Surgeon

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Southwest London from December to mid-January. The role is for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and every other Saturday, with the potential to extend based on business needs.

Contract Type: Temporary (December to mid-January)

Key Responsibilities:

• Consultations: Mainly consulting, providing expert care and advice to clients and their pets.
• Surgical Procedures: Willingness to perform routine surgical procedures when required.
• Sole Charge: Saturday shifts (9 am 6 pm) will involve sole charge, so confidence in working independently is essential.

Working Hours:

• Tuesday & Wednesday: 8 am 6 pm or 9 am 7 pm (depending on clinic needs)
• Saturday (every other): 9 am 6 pm (sole charge)

Requirements:

• Qualification: Must be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon with full RCVS registration.
• Experience: Strong experience in consultations and routine surgeries is required.
• Skills: Ability to work independently, especially during sole charge shifts, and excellent client communication skills.
