About the Role:

We are excited to present an opportunity for a talented Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established veterinary practice in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. The practice offers both full and part-time roles, with flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week, split between early and late shifts.

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you'll play an integral part in providing high-quality care to the animals in our community. You'll work alongside a dedicated and experienced team of three vets, offering support and expertise across a wide range of veterinary services. Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire

Job Type: Full-time & Part-time (Up to 40 hours per week, a combination of early and late shifts)

Salary: Competitive salary up to £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Professional Memberships: Paid memberships for RCVS, BVA, VDS, and more!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing nursing care to animals, including pre and post-operative care
  • Assisting with surgeries and diagnostic procedures
  • Administering medications and treatments as directed by the vet
  • Monitoring and maintaining the health and welfare of patients
  • Client communication, providing advice on pet care and treatment
  • Ensuring a clean and safe environment for both animals and staff

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with a valid RCVS membership
  • Previous experience in a veterinary setting is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • A passion for animal care and a commitment to delivering excellent client service
