Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Locum Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our team in Harrow. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, delivering high-quality care to a variety of patients.

Location: Harrow, Greater London
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Shifts: Full-time, Monday Friday (4-5 days per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional nursing care to animals and support their owners.
• Assist veterinarians during consultations, examinations, and surgical procedures.
• Monitor and manage the recovery of patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the veterinary practice.
• Educate pet owners on post-operative care and general health management.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to enhance patient care and service delivery.

Requirements:

• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with a valid NMC registration.
• Previous experience in a veterinary practice is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to animal care.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Flexibility to work full-time shifts, with the option of 4-5 days per week.
