Role Overview:

As the Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a key role in leading a team of 4 vets, 6 nurses, 3 receptionists, and 2 practice managers. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of the practice while delivering excellent clinical care to a varied and loyal client base. The role offers excellent work-life balance, with no Sundays or out-of-hours (OOH) duties required.

Job Type: Full-time, 4 days a week, 1 in 3 Saturdays (No Sundays or OOH)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team of veterinary professionals, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment
  • Deliver high standards of veterinary care for all patients
  • Oversee clinical cases and offer mentorship to junior vets
  • Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service
  • Manage the day-to-day clinical operations of the practice

Requirements:

  • RCVS registered and fully qualified veterinary surgeon
  • Proven experience in clinical leadership
  • A passion for mentoring and developing veterinary teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
