Locum Veterinary Surgeon - Essex

GLG Vets are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a skilled Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established practice in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. This role offers flexibility with 2 to 4 days per week, allowing you to manage your work-life balance, while earning a competitive day rate of £450. The practice is modern, well-equipped, and dedicated to providing outstanding care for their patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality veterinary care across consultations, diagnostics, and treatments
• Perform surgeries and routine procedures
• Offer excellent client communication and support
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate effectively with the practice team to deliver exceptional care

Skills & Experience:

• RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
• At least 2 years post-graduate experience
• Competence in both consultations and surgical procedures
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to client care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
