As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical and surgical care to our patients. Location: Southampton
Salary: £44,888 - £58,969 (Including allowances) Pro rata for part-time hours per annum
Hours: Full-time or part-time hours available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent veterinary care, including diagnostics, consultations, and surgeries.
  • Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide guidance on pet care, treatment plans, and follow-ups.
  • Support the development and mentoring of junior staff members.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Participate in internal CPD opportunities and continue your professional growth.

Working Hours:

  • Flexible working options available regarding hours and shifts.
  • One late shift (10:30 AM to 7:00 PM) and one early shift (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM) each week.
  • No out-of-hours work as coverage is provided by Vets Now.

Requirements:

  • MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Experience in general practice, with confidence in both surgical and medical cases.
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient and client care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
