As the Veterinary Surgeon Team Leader, you will lead and manage a team of veterinary professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients. You will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, mentoring and developing team members, and maintaining clinical excellence. Location: Liverpool
Salary: £57,842 - £59,470 pro-rata (including allowance) per annum
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Contract: Part-Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the veterinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
  • Oversee clinical decision-making, ensuring best practices are followed in both medical and surgical cases.
  • Mentor and guide team members, helping them grow in their roles.
  • Manage the scheduling, day-to-day operations, and team workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accurate clinical records.
  • Participate in the recruitment and development of veterinary staff.
  • Engage in internal CPD programs and contribute to the professional growth of the team.

Working Hours:

  • 22.5 hours per week, part-time position.
  • Flexible and remote working options available.

Requirements:

  • MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or senior veterinary role.
  • Strong clinical skills in both medical and surgical procedures.
