Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Director / Senior Manager to lead strategic growth initiatives for Lens Technology in North America.
This is a high-impact leadership role focused on driving the company's transition from component-level supply to system-level assembly and OEM/ODM solutions, working directly with leading technology companies, EV innovators, and premium hardware brands.
You will own and scale $100M+ programs in Final Assembly, Test & Pack (FATP) while helping define the next growth engine for Lens in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth Leadership
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for system-level manufacturing and assembly solutions in North America
- Identify new business opportunities aligned with industry trends (AI hardware, EV, supply chain localization)
Enterprise Account Development
- Build and expand executive-level relationships (C-suite, VP-level) with key accounts
- Drive long-term partnerships with leading hardware and EV companies
End-to-End Deal Ownership
- Lead the full sales lifecycle, including opportunity identification, RFQ strategy, pricing, negotiation, and deal closure
- Structure and close large-scale, complex manufacturing deals
Cross-Functional & Global Execution
- Act as the bridge between U.S. customers and global engineering/manufacturing teams
- Ensure alignment from early engagement through NPI and mass production
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor market dynamics across EMS, AI hardware, and advanced manufacturing
- Provide insights to refine Lens's positioning and growth strategy
Qualifications
Experience
- Senior Manager: 8+ years in Business Development, Program Management, or Strategic Sourcing
- Director: 12+ years with a proven track record of closing large-scale (8-figure+) manufacturing or EMS deals
Industry Expertise
- Strong understanding of EMS, SMT, and FATP processes
- Experience with complex hardware programs and global supply chains
Network
- Established relationships within Silicon Valley or broader hardware ecosystem (engineering, procurement, operations leaders)
Skills
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence
Language
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (required for global coordination)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ME/EE) or Business
- MBA preferred
