Android Engineers

** Position:** Android Engineer（ contractor）

** Location:** New York, NY, USA (Onsite)

** Experience:** 7+ years

### Tech Stack & Tools

* **Languages & Frameworks:** Kotlin, Jetpack, Mavericks (MVRX), gRPC

* **Architecture:** Backend-for-Frontend (BFF), Dependency Injection (Dagger, Guice)

* **Testing:** JUnit, Espresso, Paparazzi

* **Tooling:** Android Studio, Gradle, GitHub

### What Youll Do

* Build and maintain Android features using modern architecture patterns

* Integrate with gRPC services and implement BFF patterns

* Ensure quality through unit/UI tests and automation

* Collaborate in an agile team environment with designers and backend engineers

* Participate in code reviews and CI/CD workflows

### Requirements

* 8+ years of Android development experience

* Expertise in Kotlin and Android architecture components

* Experience with gRPC, DI frameworks (Dagger/Guice), and scalable app design

* Strong testing mindset and familiarity with Espresso, Paparazzi, etc.

### Nice to Have

* Experience with Jetpack Compose

* Prior work on large-scale consumer-facing apps

* Familiarity with performance profiling and release automation
