Role Overview
GMI Cloud is building next-generation AI and GPU cloud infrastructure to support fast-scaling AI companies, research labs, and enterprise customers. The Technical Account Manager (TAM) plays a critical customer-facing role, working at the intersection of customers, infrastructure, and operations to ensure successful delivery, adoption, and long-term account success.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned customers.
- Build trusted relationships with customer engineering and operations teams.
- Coordinate with internal infrastructure, data center operations, and engineering teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Support customer onboarding, deployment, and scaling of AI/GPU workloads.
- Identify performance, utilization, and cost-optimization opportunities.
- Conduct regular operational and technical reviews with customers.
- Advocate for customer needs internally and drive issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Experience in technical account management, customer success, operations, or project management within cloud, AI infrastructure, or data center environments.
- Comfortable working with technical customers and cross-functional internal teams.
- General understanding of AI infrastructure concepts such as GPU servers, Kubernetes, high-performance networking, and storage.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise or AI-scale customers.
- Exposure to hyperscale data center or AI infrastructure environments.
- Bilingual communication skills (English / Chinese) are a plus.
