Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist for our client in the United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages. Job Overview:

  • Perform routine dental examinations, including comprehensive oral evaluations, periodontal assessments, and dental radiographic examinations.
  • Diagnose and treat common dental conditions, such as dental caries, periodontal disease, and oral infections, using evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Provide restorative dental treatments, including fillings, crowns, bridges, and dental prosthetics, to restore patients' oral function and aesthetics.
  • Perform dental extractions, including simple and surgical extractions, as necessary to alleviate pain and prevent complications.
  • Administer local anesthesia and/or sedation to ensure patient comfort during dental procedures, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Educate patients about oral hygiene practices, preventive care measures, and lifestyle habits that promote oral health and overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with dental specialists and allied healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans for complex cases and referrals, as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed dental records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and informed consent forms, in compliance with legal and professional standards.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, sterilization procedures, and occupational health and safety regulations in the dental practice.
  • Participate in continuing education programs, professional development activities, and peer reviews to stay abreast of advancements in dental science, technology, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills: (Qualifications below + English)

  • Bachelor's degree in Dentistry (BDS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Full registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a General Dental Practitioner.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of clinical experience working as a dentist in a dental practice or clinical setting.
  • Proficiency in performing a wide range of general dental procedures and treatments, with excellent clinical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and deliver patient-centred care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing patient needs and practice requirements.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of professional ethics, integrity, and patient confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate patient appointments and practice schedules.
  • Knowledge of dental practice management software and electronic dental record systems is desirable.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and completion of relevant professional development courses or certifications.
