Job Title: Specialist Doctor - Drug Rehabilitation

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist Doctor in Drug Rehabilitation to be based in the UK. Specialist Doctor in Drug Rehabilitation will contribute to the mission of providing high-quality care to individuals recovering from substance abuse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in addiction medicine and a passion for helping patients achieve long-term recovery.

Job Overview:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with substance abuse disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including detoxification protocols and medication-assisted therapies.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families on addiction, recovery, and relapse prevention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Stay abreast of developments in the field of addiction medicine and participate in continuous professional development activities.
• Requirements :
  • Medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK.
  • Specialist training in addiction medicine or relevant experience in drug rehabilitation.
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies, such as the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Practitioners (FDAP) or the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in the assessment and treatment of patients with substance abuse disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
