Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

Salary: £21,000 29,000 per annum.

We are looking for dedicated Healthcare Assistant for our client on a full-time basis. Healthcare Assistants play a crucial role in supporting patients and contributing to their overall well-being. If youre passionate about making a positive impact, consider a career as an HCA!

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients in hospitals, residential care facilities, or patients homes.

• Typical Duties :
• Assisting patients with daily activities.
• Checking vital signs.
• Supporting nursing staff as needed.

• Assisting with Daily Living Activities:
• Help patients with tasks such as eating, showering, and using the toilet.
• Utilize equipment to move patients when necessary.
• Home and Room Maintenance:
• Assist in tidying patients homes or rooms.
• Ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
• Vital Signs Monitoring:
• Take patients vital signs, including blood pressure and temperature.
• Record and report any significant changes.
• Patient Interaction and Reassurance:
• Talk to patients, provide emotional support, and reassure them.
• Attend meetings with other healthcare professionals.
• Collaboration with Nursing Staff:
• Assist nurses and other staff when needed.
• Adhere to professional standards and protocols.
• Reporting and Communication:
• Deliver reports to Case Managers.
• Review any important changes in the patients condition.

Qualifications and Skills: (One of the qualifications below + English)

• Level 2 First Aid Certificate.
• Level 1 Community Health.
• Level 3 Nurse Aid or Level 3 Health and Social Care NVQ.
• Care Certificate.
• English proficiency to pass the Home Office eligibility.
• The ability to handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• Clear, precise, and effective communication skills
• Adaptable and quick to learn policies and procedures.
• Exceptional verbal and non-verbal (through gestures and body language/interpersonal) communication skills

Experience:

• Work experience in the Healthcare sector is essential.
