Position Type: Contract (W-2 only). C2C or 1099 not permitted

About the Role
Our client is seeking a Master Solution Architect to lead the design and architecture of fraud and identity-related systems and integrations. This senior-level role supports enterprise initiatives around Login Fraud, Transaction Fraud, and Fraud Product enablement. The Architect will shape solution design, guide technical strategy, and ensure compliance with standards across teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture design and documentation for enterprise-level fraud initiatives
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical solution architectures aligned with business capabilities
- Define technology vision and ensure alignment with enterprise architectural standards
- Advise senior stakeholders and participate in Agile and strategic planning ceremonies
- Apply cybersecurity and risk compliance principles to proposed solutions
- Drive architectural governance and review processes across the organization
- Mentor junior architects and guide teams across integrated solution efforts
- Ensure effective reuse of existing technology capabilities and patterns
Required Experience
- Bachelors degree and 9+ years of relevant work experience or 13+ years total experience in lieu of degree
- Deep background in software or service engineering and technical solution delivery
- Experience leading architecture efforts in fraud or identity domains within financial services
- Proficiency across multiple programming languages and system design patterns
- Proven ability to present architecture to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Strong grasp of industry-standard architecture practices and emerging technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate degree in a technical field
- Agile delivery experience
- Experience working in architecture organizations or enterprise delivery environments
- Certifications in architecture, cloud platforms, or programming technologies
- Public speaking or conference presentation experience
