Overview

Join a high-impact engineering team focused on designing and developing heavy-duty vehicle systems and components. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working across the full product lifecycle—from concept and analysis to production support—while contributing to both new and existing vehicle platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop functional, reliable, and cost-effective vehicle components and systems
  • Perform engineering analysis, calculations, and design validation activities
  • Support integration and execution of component and system designs into vehicle platforms
  • Create and review technical drawings, layouts, specifications, and bills of material (BOMs)
  • Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing and production teams
  • Analyze and resolve engineering issues; communicate status clearly to stakeholders
  • Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and engineering records
  • Mentor junior engineers, designers, or technicians as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant engineering experience

Preferred / Standout Experience:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with automotive or heavy-duty vehicle systems
  • Proficiency in CAD tools such as PTC Creo and Windchill
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in system modeling and performance optimization
