Role Overview

The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing all financial operations of the organization, including reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and financial analysis. This role will also oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and payments

  • Perform and review bank reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure cash balances are accurate

  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process

  • Monitor cash flow and manage working capital effectively

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies

  • Coordinate external audits and act as a liaison with auditors

  • Maintain accurate general ledger and journal entries

  • Implement and monitor internal financial controls

  • Provide regular financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making

  • Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement and cost efficiency

  • Supervise and support junior finance team members (if applicable)

  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment of financial strategies with business goals

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

  • CPA and/or CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role

  • Hands-on experience with AP, AR, and bank reconciliation

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards

  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Excel)

  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
