Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Patient Coordinator to join our team in a forward-facing voice role with administrative support responsibilities. This position is ideal for someone with a strong dental background who is confident in patient communication, appointment setting, and handling high-volume calls while supporting clinic operations remotely.
Key Responsibilities:

Patient Recall:
Proactively contact patients who did not book during their last visit. Review clinical notes, identify recommended treatments (e.g., crowns), clearly explain the importance of these treatments, and successfully secure appointments. -
Inbound Lead Handling:
Manage incoming calls from new patient inquiries via landing pages. Follow a structured qualification script and convert leads into confirmed bookings. -
Payment Processing:
Securely collect and process credit card details over the phone for cancellation holds. -
Dental Item Number Navigation:
Interpret dental item numbers, understand associated procedures, and communicate these clearly and confidently to patients. -
Administrative Support:
Provide PA and administrative assistance, including scheduling, email management, data entry, and supporting the Practice Manager with day-to-day operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Qualifications & Skills:

Relevant Experience:
Experience in healthcare, customer service, call center, or administrative roles is highly valued. Familiarity with dental procedures, terminology, or similar environments is a plus. -
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal communication with a clear, professional, and friendly tone. Ability to build rapport and guide patients in making informed decisions. -
Call Handling & Resilience:
Comfortable managing a high volume of outbound and inbound calls, handling objections positively, and staying motivated throughout the day. -
Self-Management:
Able to work independently, follow guidelines and scripts, and adapt quickly after initial training. -
Administrative Skills:
Comfortable using remote systems, scheduling tools, email, and performing general administrative tasks. -
Billing Knowledge (Nice to Have):
Experience with medical or insurance billing is an advantage but not required.
