Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain and support Kivuto internal IS systems and services.
- Work with internal teams and vendors to define, design, build, and implement internal application integrations using best practices.
- Develop and maintain data integration components for internal customers such as SQL queries, stored procedures, data extraction and cleansing, and integration with system front end components.
- Write SQL code to retrieve appropriate data as derived from requirements.
- Build and maintain reports and/or data extract interfaces for internal information systems to support business analysis.
- Coordinate directly with business users and business analyst to best understand and analyze business specifications.
- Provide technical assistance to troubleshoot and resolve integration errors.
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot core business applications, including application servers, associated hardware, endpoints, and databases.
- Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements.
- Translate highly technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements.
- Manage the set-up and configuration of systems.
- Provide documentation of all processes and training as needed for internal stakeholders to utilize integrations.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors and alarms.
- Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and performance of information systems.
Qualifications-
Required:
- Degree in computer engineering, sciences, IT or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience in Systems Administration
- Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with systems and database maintenance and administration, current in Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience administering Linux, Apache or Nginx, MySQL, PHP environments
- Experience with design, deployment, operation and ongoing management of network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN/VWAN, VPN, Firewalls, load-balancers, etc. in both traditional and cloud-based environments.
- Knowledge and experience with high availability and disaster recovery architecture and operations
- Understanding of Data Warehousing and Business intelligence environments: SSIS, SSAS, Transact-SQL, Mirroring, Clustering, Replication, Performance Monitoring, SSRS, PowerBI
- Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
- Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems
- Experience with design, deployment, operation and ongoing management of cloud-based systems and services (Azure a must, AWS, GCP an asset)
- Experience with design, deployment, operation and ongoing management of Microsoft Operating systems and Active Directory-based services
- Experience with design, deployment, operation and ongoing management of telephony systems including end-user equipment, VoIP/SIP based services and POTS/PBX system and services
- Experience with management and maintenance of Microsoft O365 systems and services
Nice to Have:
- Microsoft Certifications
- Experience with managing and maintaining Hubspot integrations
- Working knowledge of a wide variety of operating systems and programming languages
- Experience with the following systems and services an asset; Hubspot CRM, Oracle NetSuite, ELK Stack, Kayako (ticketing System), File Integrity Monitoring (CimTrak), WordPress
- Comfortable working with Agile methodologies and ASP .Net environment including familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Experience with modern DevOps methodologies and practices including deployment as code, CI/CD, pipelining, etc.
- Experience with containerization and related technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm, etc.)
