Role Overview

The Construction Quality Control (QC) Manager supports the contractor delivering construction projects across Micronesia for U.S. government projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage the Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Plan in accordance with USACE requirements.
  • Serve as the on-site quality authority and primary interface with USACE Quality Assurance personnel.
  • Conduct Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up inspections for all definable features of work.
  • Review, track, and manage submittals, RFIs, and material approvals.
  • Maintain daily QC reports, inspection records, and non-conformance documentation.
  • Coordinate testing and inspections with approved laboratories.
  • Support project closeout activities, punch list resolution, and final acceptance.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum ten (10) years of construction quality control experience on large-scale projects.
  • Completion of the USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors course, or ability to obtain certification within 90 days.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Quality control experience on marine or waterfront facilities, including piers, wharves, mooring systems, and coastal infrastructure.
  • Experience working on island-based, remote, or logistically constrained construction projects.
  • Experience supporting USACE, NAVFAC, AFCEC, or other U.S. federal construction projects.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: USD $60,000–$90,000 annually, dependent on experience.
  • Housing provided.
  • Food stipend provided.
  • Additional uplifts may apply based on project conditions.
