Electrical Engineer III

Electrical Engineer III needs Bachelors degree in electrical engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university, OR bachelor's degree in engineering technology from an ABET accredited college or university in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and (4) four years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry

Electrical Engineer III requires:

• High-voltage equipment including transformers, switchgear, generators, and related power distribution components., Hands-on experience designing and supporting power distribution systems, including developing one-line diagrams, electrical schematics, system layouts, and performing load calculations.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
• Knowledge of reviewing arc flash studies and implementing improvements
• Working knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.)

• No Control Engineers
• Experience working in Preliminary-Front End Engineering and Design (Pre-FEED), Front End Engineering Design (FEED), or Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) of small to medium facility projects
• Supports the designing and implantation of Instrumentation systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems
• PLC
• Knowledge in power system design, analysis, and simulation (e.g., ETAP, MATLAB, PSCAD, Simulink or similar tools)
• Knowledge of high-voltage equipment, transformers, generators, and switchgear
• Understanding of grid integration and renewable energy systems
• Experience in supporting procurement processes for electrical equipment and materials, with established industry contacts for sourcing reliable vendors and suppliers
•  Experience with participation of the commissioning, testing, and startup of electrical equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with design specifications
• Prefers Masters degree in electrical engineering from ABET accredited college or university
